This editorial examines Exam Stress as an overlooked mental health crisis harming well-prepared students at the most critical moment before exams. Drawing on research and real experiences, it argues that anxiety-not lack of knowledge-undermines performance, memory, and confidence. It calls on educators, ed-tech leaders, and innovators to prioritize evidence-based mental health support alongside academic preparation to protect students and prevent lasting harm.
